How It Works

The OneWater System

Strong plants start with strong roots. It is vital for a plant’s health for its roots to get a “deep soak” when they are watered in a pot. A “deep soak” means strong roots chase water to the bottom of the pot as the soil dries, rather than staying shallow near the surface.

However, as any plant grows, its roots take up increasingly more space in a pot (leaving less room for water.) This meant a constant calibration of the correct water amount for a plant in a pot, risking too much or too litte.

The OneWater System
is the solution. The included OneWater System Riser adds precise drainage so that the same pot will always be able to use the same OneWater Amount. This means you never have to worry about root rot from extra water sitting in the saucer, not giving your plant a deep soak or moving your plant to water it.

+ Water one instructed amount as your plant grows until repot

Our proprietary, patent pending calculations measure the perfect OneWater Amount for any pot size. We factor in the pots volume along with a few other considerations (like variation in soil densities)
